The "stylistic choice" on bf's nails draws focus to an unimportant part of the image; maybe make them stick out a bit less.
It looks like the spotlight is only on bf despite being on both, maybe it wouldn't be like that if the white on their jacket was the same.
The perspective of the background doesnt match to the characters' position.
Other than that, this looks good(nice shapes and pose), so I still give it 4.5/5
